Welcome to Still Water Yoga Lake Tahoe! Our goal is to provide a warm and open space for the newest of yogis to advanced practitioners. We offer a variety of classes to fit your yoga needs and schedule. We aim to become an integral part of your healthy lifestyle and enhance your physical and emotional well being through our classes. Our experienced instructors come from a variety of different backgrounds, and provide support on and off the mat. 

People of all athletic abilities can find the benefit of stepping onto their mat consistently. In addition to the physical benefits of improving flexibility, gaining strength, and improving overall health, yoga can help the mind create space to find clarity. Yoga can also help people find relief from stress and come to a place of self-actualization. It allows for a quiet space and time for self reflection. Using this time for reflection, self-compassion and personal growth often manifest.

The Asana Lens Photography Workshop

Still Water Yoga and Jenny Santos Photography presents The Asana Lens Photography Workshop!! During this workshop we will teach you how to photograph and edit your own photos directly on your smart phone! After the photography lecture you will be taken through a 30 minute Vinyasa class in the studio to warm up your body before we work one-on-one with you to find a family of photographic poses for your mini photo shoot on location! Jenny Santos will photograph and edit 5 digital photos of you for you to keep!
  In this Workshop you will receive:
- 30 min Photography Lesson
- 30 min Vinyasa Class
- 30 min Individual “Family of Poses” work
- On location photo shoot - south shore of Lake Tahoe 
- 5 edited digital photos of you

Yin Immersion
with Kelly Wetzler Aguilera
Friday, October 19 - Sunday, October 21
This workshop is designed to give the student and teacher a perspective into the theories behind the practice of yin yoga.​​​​​

The agenda includes:
The history and foundations of yin yoga.
Qualities of Yin and Yang.
The Anatomy of Yin Yoga.
Skeletal variations.
The poses(and modification of poses) of yin yoga.
This training is open to current yoga teachers who wish to spend the weekend immersed in all things Yin. You'll leave this weekend with the foundation and ability to guide yourself and/or your students safely into a wide variety of yin poses.

Kelly has studied with Paul Grilley, Sarah Powers and yin yoga senior teacher Joe Barnett. This course qualifies as 10 hours of CE credit with Yoga Alliance.

200 Hour Teacher Training
with Shannon Liebel
November 2018 - July 2019
This Vinyasa style teacher training is registered with Yoga Alliance, and you will be eligible to receive your RYT 200 credential after the completion of this course. Often people attend 200 hour teacher trainings to simply deepen their own practice, and we highly encourage people on this path. Additionally, individuals who envision themselves teaching yoga as a part of their future will be taught the necessary standards required by Yoga Alliance to become a certified yoga teacher.
Our 200 hour teacher training aims to give you the knowledge and skills to deepen your personal practice, and also be able to share your gifts with others through teaching yoga. At the end of this training, our goal is that you are able to teach asanas with safe and proper alignment, be familiar with the philosophy and history of yoga, learn the anatomy that is an integral part of a yoga practice, be able to sequence and manage a class, find your own teaching style, and apply yoga principles into every day life.
We believe that yoga is a path that allows us to connect the mind, body, and soul, and is a tool that helps us navigate through this crazy thing called “life”. We are merely your guide on your yoga journey, and we hope that throughout this training you explore and discover how yoga works in your life.
